I never knew Bill in high school but actually met him about 15 years ago at my job.  He was a Menomonee Falls Police Officer who always came into the ER at Community Memorial where I work.  We started talking and realized that we went to high school together and then I found out he married my friend Roz Haney who used to be a grade school friend.  What a coincidence.  Bill died about 2 years ago of cancer and I sat with Roz while Bill was in the hospice.  I so miss him.  He was a great guy, even if I did not know him in high school!  I'm so glad he got to go on that last trip to Hawaii with Roz and the kids (shortly before he passed).

Bill and Roz and I had many fun times growing our families together. He and my first husband were best friends, and they did everything they could to enjoy life. Bill was a great guy.

I first met Billy in high school.  From the very first, his smile and humor made him one of my favorite friends.   At that time he was dating Annie W  and all of us had some incredible fun weekends,  Billy enjoyed life to the fullest.   Whenever, I had a chance to speak with Billy in the next 30 some years,  he was always so happy.  Absolutely loved his wife and kids,  He was so very proud of his family,   even taking shifts at school to help in the kids classes.   And very proud of Roz's success in getting her college degree.   Billy loved his job as a police officer,  He was someone who lived life to fullest,   he is greatly missed!!!!

Bill and I met in Junior High and got to be friends from homeroom and different classes.  I am saddened to see so many classmates who are on this list.  Bill was a wonderful friend to everyone who knew him and I am sure he was an excellent police officer.  Rest in peace Bill.
