DIANE STROSIN

Diane Strosin, age 61 of Lyndon Station, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 19, 2016.  Diane's year long battle with pancreatic cancer ended at home with her loving husband, three daughters and granddaughter by her side.

Diane was born May 11, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the daughter of Edward and Lois(Allen) Schaefer.  In June of 1972 she married Joseph Strosin in Milwaukee.  

For years, they owned and operated BTU Management, Heating and Air Conditioning in Mauston, Wisconsin where she made her contributions as secretary.  Diane enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling and spending time with grandchildren and family.          

Diane is survived by her husband, Joseph, daughters Danielle (Bradley) Templeton of DeForest, Wisconsin, Rebecca Strosin of Lyndon Station and Jodi (Anthony) Dray of Beloit, Wisconsin; her mother, Lois Schaefer of New Berlin, Wisconsin; Mark Schaefer of Milwaukee, Scott (Mary) Schaefer of Hubertus, Wisconsin and Carl Schaefer of Jackson, Wisconsin; sisters, Lynn (Mike) VanRoo of Hales Corners, Wisconsin, Darlene (Karl) Egle of Milwaukee anbd Patti (Charlie) Hieland of Berlin, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Lauren, Trinity, Gabriel, Jada and Trevor; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Diane was preceded in death by her father Edward; brothers John and David; sister Mary Jo Rommel and niece Katherine (Rommel) Blair.

The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lyndon Station with Father Robert Letona celebrating.  

Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

The family would also like to thank Agrace Hospice Care for the kindness and compassion they have shown Diane and her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the UW Carbone Cancer Center would be appreciated.
