Lloyd P. Welton 

76, of Sparks, NV passed away peacefully on August 4, 2007.  He was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 5, 1931 to Lloyd E. and Josephine Welton.  He graduated from Washington High School, Milwaukee, WI in 1949.  He attended Carroll College, Waukesha, WI from 1950 to 1954, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology and Psychology. 

He served in the US Army from March 1954 to December 1955, and was discharged with the rank of Specialist 3rd class. 

Lloyd earned a Master of Arts Degree in Administration and Guidance from the University of WI Milwaukee in 1960.  He was an assistant buyer with Boston Store in 1956 and began his teaching/counseling career in 1957 at Custer High School in Milwaukee, WI.

He retired in 1988 and moved to Hot Springs Village, AR, where he was on the building board of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Lloyd was an enthusiastic golfer and bowler.  He enjoyed traveling and being with his family.  In 2002, he moved to Sparks, NV and was initiated as a 3rd degree order of the Knights of Columbus, Council 4928. 

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 51 years, Allegra; his dear cousin Dolores Stafford; his three sons Michael (Lucia), Patrick (Annette),and Christopher; his five grandchildren include Alexander, Mikaela, Patricia, Mary and Nathaniel.  A memorial mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Community 5650 Vista Blvd on Thurs August 9, 2007 at 10a.m.  Burial will be in Kaukauna, WI at a later date.

76, of Sparks, NV formerly of Wauwatosa, WI, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2007.  He was a Guidance Counselor and Assistant Administrator at Custer High School until he retired in 1988.  He is survived by his wife, Allegra; sons Michael, Patrick, and Christopher; grandchildren Alex, Mikaela, Patricia, Mary and Nathaniel.
