"Borzo" was a great teacher and a great man. He always challenged me to work harder, and I did-for him. We had many arguments over my "hippie" style of dressing. They were always light-hearted. However, once I got a test back that had 100% crossed out and it said, "99%-- 1 point off for wearing a headband". I stormed up to his desk and started righteously stating my case and demanding my 1 point back. He didn't last long before he burst out laughing, and I realized that he had been teasing. He sure knew how to get me! It was another good lesson on how not to take myself so darned seriously. He was a teacher of more than English. He is greatly missed.

One of my favorite teachers! Always had time for his students. He gave me the job as wrestling team timer. A good and decent man.

I'll always remember Mr Borzykowski dividing our English class into two groups to compete against each other
--one he called "Dummkopfs" (stupid heads) and the second he called "Stoopnagles" (slow-witted people)
We were an advanced English class, but he never let us get too full of ourselves....ha!
He set high standards for us, but he knew how to make a class fun.
