Diane K. Hebenstreich (Schmeling)

Corinne was my mentor.  I worked in the office as a student and then worked at school after graduation for 15 years under her supervision.  She was a sweet, tough, hard working, knowledgable and great teacher to me for my career as I continued as a public school secretary for 45 years until I retired.  I owe a lot to Corinne and think of her often.

Renee Aronin (Physical Education) (Zellner)

Corinne was genuine and kind. She made it a point to welcome new teachers and provide them guidance to navigate the school. I appreciated the time I spent with her while I was at Custer High School. When I left the school and moved to Illinois, Corinne and I continued to write annual letters to each other. When she retired, she and her husband participated in a wide variety of social activities. Later in her life she continued to exercise, spend time with her children and grandchildren and became an active leader in her retirement community. She was such a wonderful role model for me and I think of her often. I know I am a better person having had her in my life.
