Dale Robert Hagedorn, born on January 3, 1954, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on December 22, 2025. He was a cherished figure in his family, known for his warm personality and his embrace of peace and love.

Dale dedicated many years of his life to the workforce, retiring from Milwaukee County where he served as a boiler operator. His commitment to his career was matched by his service to his country, as he proudly served in the United States Navy, a time in his life that he held dear.

A graduate of Custer High School, Dale’s love for life extended beyond his professional commitments. He enjoyed golfing and was known for his celebratory spirit, often finding joy in parties surrounded by family and friends. His engaging presence and zest for life left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.

Dale is lovingly survived by his children, Jesse Hagedorn, Nicole (Daniel) Saavedra and Caleb Foster. He is further survived by many step-children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews, each of whom will remember him fondly.

He is preceded in death by his beloved son Terry, whose memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew them both.

A memorial gathering in honor of Dale will take place on December 29, 2025, starting at 4:00 PM, followed by a Military Honors and a time of sharing at 6:30 PM. Both events will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Greenridge Chapel, located at 4747 S. 60th Street, Greenfield, WI 53220.

Dale Robert Hagedorn will be profoundly missed, and his legacy will endure through the love and memories he created with family and friends throughout his life.

I remember Dale as a fun guy, with a perpetual smile. Although, I don't recall having any classes with him, but I had friends who did. So I became friends with Dale by default. 

Imagine so sorry to find out about Dale's death. I'm sure he's already missed by all. 

Again. I'm very sorry to find out about Dales passing.

I'm really sorry to hear of Dale's passing. I sat at his lunch table for all our years at Custer. I'm sure we had some classes together. I think I had a crush on Dale too. May his memory be a blessing.
