We had an amazing reunion and want to thank all the committee personnel.  It took alot of hard work and they sure accomplished it.  My husband and I had a great time and will definitely make the next. It was great seeing all of the old students and talking about our families and our accomplishments.  thanks again Cheryl Rheingans Glen Custer 1972.

smileyI had such a great time at the reunion that I think Joel's suggestion for a "60ish" Birthday party would be fun.  Hope our classmates will agree.  Even if you don't want to be reminded that you are "60ish" then just think "Hey - any reason for a get-together or party"!

Suggestion:  Summer, park pavillion and dish to pass along with a cookout. (Or just something to pass and your own cooler for beverages).

I want to thank the Custer "60th Birthday Party" Committee for planning a terffic event. The atmosphere at AJ's was very enjoyable and relaxing. I think I talked with more classmates at this event than I did at the "40th" bash.two years ago.

Looking forward to next event  - whenever it occurs!

Hello everyone! If you did not come to the reunion last night you missed a grand time. People actually flew in from Phoenix and Atlanta to be there. Thanks to Mel, Joe, Patty and the rest of the committee for holding us all together these years. Everyone left saying, "See you at the fifty!"

Just wanted to thank everyone who worked so hard on the 45th. class reunion. My husband and I (okay, he's a '72 graduate from Marshall...I know, I know) had a great time.

I had just buried my 66 year old brother the day before and I honestly didn't know if I felt like attending. However, this proved to be very uplifting and also helped me understand that life goes on.

Those of us left behind must remember and honor those who are no longer in our presence. We must also carry on and enjoy all the days of our lives. Thanks again, so very much!!!

I just want to take a moment to wish all of you a healthy and safe July 4th.  It is imperative that we all practice safety measures to keep our family and friends safe from COVID 19. Encourage the young to see how their behavior affects the lives of others.  I have taken the time to contact my alumni and current students and student athletes to be sure they are taking steps to be safe and to protect their family and friends.

Thougthfully,

Renee Aronin Zellner

Hey fellow classmates, I wanted to share that 2 weeks ago I found out that I'm in a book club with Nancy Griesberg who taught typing and other office type classes. I never had her as a teacher, but she is now a friend! She is well and sends greetings to all of her former students!

Hey there,  I will soon be going thru the CHS Classmate list of those who have not been found yet for our website.  If anyone has information on any of these classmates, (marriages/new surnames, residences, even their parents' given names) please let me know.  Any details, even if not current, can help locating them especially classmates who share very common surnames.
Also, please pass on information you may have about our teachers.  I know some of you have been lucky enough to keep in touch with them throughout the years.
Thanks for your help.

Happy 2023 To All Custer Classmates!

"Better late, than never" as the old saying goes, right?

Anyway, the 50th Reunion Committee sent out a message asking for thoughts about our recent reunion. I believe I thanked all the committee members present that night, but just in case I missed someone - THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK! No small task to accomplish.

Everything was as perfect as it could possibly have been. Event location, food, music, decorations as well as all other details were first-class. Enjoyed that the music was kept at a level allowing for people to communicate.

Hoping for another reunion!

Kim C. Goerg
