Gail A. Welleman (nee Ignaszak ),56, of Hartford, passed away Wed July 7, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

 

Gail was born June 15, 1954 in Milwaukee to Richard and Elenor (nee Bretschneider) Ignaszak. She was united in marriage to Walter “Wally” Welleman on October 9, 1976 in Milwaukee at Albright United Methodist Church..

 

Gail worked for many years in retail and was a dedicated, hardworking employee. She enjoyed sewing in her leisure time and loved tending to her flowers. Gail was a wonderful loving wife and mom and will be deeply missed by all.

 

She is survived by her husband Wally; her children Kyle and Carrie Welleman; her brother Michael Ignaszak of Menomonee Falls; her sister Lori (David) Schmitz of Oswego, Illinois. Gail is further survived by other relatives and many friends. 

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Eleanor (nee Bretschneider), and her uncle Eric Bretschneider. 

 

Funeral services, Sat July 10, 2010 at 2pm at First United Methodist Church, 738 Monroe Ave., Hartford, Washington Co., WI  Visitation Sat from 11am to 2pm at the church.
