Well this is hard to write --I have not seen Chuck since either an early reunion(10yr?) or if not it was when Bill Novak, Mike Corriveau and I  did a ROADTRIP in Aug 1972 to Sacramento CA where he spent the summer--to pick him up --drive down the coast of CA--what a blast--to almost Mexico ( they whimped out) , then to Grand Canyon, up thru Route 66 back to Milw.. There were 2 cars of us actually that made the roundtrip...I have to dig out the old "slides;"' to reminesce but it was my first time out of Midwest except for senior trip to DC.  While i did not hang out with Chuck much in HS as I was busy with 3 sports, he was a terrific guy as I got to know him on the trip home.... He loved the Coast and outdoors, and I think he gave me a Bible on the trip home....I didnt think much of it until later after I graduated from Carroll...and sought more life answers... I think  Chuck knew the right answers and was on the path to spend eternity with his maker....Peace & grace to his widow Julie.  Illl have to find those slides of that wonderful trip and send/post  a few...Right now enjoying 3.5 mos of therapy in FL--have to admit my joints love it--so it wont be for a few mos..Stay healthy

Chuck and I got to know each other starting in Junior High.  We were in all of the drama classes together.  And there was always drama but mostly because everyone loved Chuck so much and the girls were always swooning over him.  Many many good times and memories.  Another wonderful soul gone to soon!
