Passed away unexpectedly on Thu October 1, 2009 ( in E.R., Menomonee Falls, Waukesha Co., WI), and found peace with his Lord at the age of 54. Loving and devoted husband and best friend of Sharon (nee Rossman) for almost 25 years. Beloved son of Fern (nee Schmidt) and the late Paul Wiesner. Loving step-father of Brian (Karen) Farrow. Proud grandpa of Gabrielle. Brother of Lynn (Mike) Phillippi, the late Kathleen Wiesner and Becky (Chuck) Nickel. Wonderful uncle of Ryan (Leah) Pohl, the late Scotty Pohl, Stacey Pohl, Adam Nickel and Nicole Nickel. Great-uncle of Micah. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Mon Oct 5, 2009 from 4pm until 7pm at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home, Menomonee Falls, WI
Funeral Services will be held on Tues Oct 6 at 10:30am at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church on Menomonee Ave in the Falls. Visitation from 10am until the service.
Daniel enjoyed the simple things in life. He looked forward to the special times that he got to share with Sharon. His love for his family, friends and co-workers was endless. He had a strong Faith and a fond love for his Lord. He touched many people in his quiet, caring way and Daniel will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church are appreciated.

Even though I graduated with Danny, I didn't really get to know him until we were at UWM together. He was warm and friendly. He had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh.

I knew Dan from grade school at Silver Spring through high school. I always thought of him as a dear friend. He was such a nice guy. I was truly sad when I saw his obit in the paper.

Dan and I were cousins of a sort=two of his uncles married two of my aunts, my Dad's sister and my Mom's sister so I have Weisners on both sides of the family.
Even though we had no direct blood connections we ran into each other at various family events
