CHECKAI, Deborah (Nee Busalacchi)  Age 60.  Born August 17, 1954, passed away on May 19, 2015.  Loving wife of Kenneth L. Checkai, Jr.  Devoted mother of Sabrina Lynn (Jason) Messer.  

Preceded in death by her father Thomas Busalacchi, brother-in-law Scott Semmelmann, and family friend Mike Straube.  Survived by her mother Marlene and sister Jerelyn Semmelmann.  Niece of Chuck and Kathy Kahn, daughter-in-law of Lynn and Bill Meyer, sister-in-law of Patty (Randy) Gnadt, and Nate (Cheryl) Checkai.  Aunt of Michelle (Matt) Fischer, Chris (Steph) Gnadt, Tony Gnadt, Joe (Marissa) Gnadt, and Josh and Sarah Checkai.  Special Auntie to Austen, Carley, and Dillon Semmelmann.  Leaving behind many relatives and friends.  

Many thanks to the staff at Columbia St. Mary's-Ozaukee, especially the Cancer Center and Lawlis Family Hospice (Thanks, Laura).  Debbie left this earth peacefully to become a "big bright star in the sky" watching over us all.  

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 W. Capito; Drive from 5-7:15pm.  Funeral service to begin at 7:30pm.  Private burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park.  

Flowers (no roses) or memorials are suggested to the Cancer Center or Lawlis Hospice.
