Suellen “Sue” Busalacchi, 71, of Farmington, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home with family and friends by her side on March 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Sue was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and graduated from Custer High School. She spent many years working at Belwood Behavioral Health in Milwaukee and St. Coletta in Jefferson. Sue was also well known throughout the area for her years of bartending at Concord House, the Farmington Inn, and other local establishments. She spent years helping the elderly with their daily needs.
Sue loved being part of her community and was a familiar face on many local darts and pool teams. Sue became an Ordained Minister in 2009 and performed many weddings and services. She cherished time spent with friends and especially enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit her dear friend Sue. She even got to go one last time, just two weeks before passing. Sue was known for her generous heart.
Sue was always willing to help family and friends however she could. Her kindness, humor, quick wit, and friendship touched many lives. Sue is survived by her daughters, Cindy Bourassa (Ken) of Oconomowoc, WI and Lisa Lotz (Lohnny) of Helenville, WI, her brothers Joe Busalacchi, Louie Busalacchi, and Augie Busalacchi, broth-in-law Rod Jandrt; seven grandchildren, William, Marissa, Kandice, Jay, Abbie, Aly, Haley; eight great grandchildren, Lucas, Jodi, Jason, Zayden, Trevor, Isaac, Georgia, and Cooper and many close friends, including Carol, Tracy, Rose, Nicole, Trich and Sandy, along with many other friends whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mueggenburg; her mother, Patricia Busalacchi (Eggleston); her father, Joseph Busalacchi; and her sisters, Nancy Harriman and Renee Busalacchi.
Special thanks to the team at Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, Summit Wi. Your care, compassion, and kindness you showed Sue during her cancer journey. Special thanks to Agrace Hospice Karissa and her team were outstanding, caring, compassionate and we are very thankful for care you provided.
Visitation will be held on April 11th, 2026, from 9 am - 11 am at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, W4095 County Rd B, Johnson Creek, WI 53038, with service beginning at 11 am Celebration of Life luncheon and open house from 12 pm - 5 pm at Tinto’s Banquet Hall at 216 Golf Drive, Jefferson, WI 53549.
