Just looked at this page for the first time. Sad that Miss Altenhofen passed away so young. I would never have considered a school like Carroll College if it hadn't been for her. I'm so thankful for her guidance of college-bound students like me, and Miss Shirley Hilger at Carroll who followed up on Miss Altenhofen's recommendations. I think there were 11 from our class in 1972 who attended Carroll that fall.
