December 23, 2007. Age 69. Beloved husband of Jackie. Loving father of Cheryl (Chris) Pope, and Debbie (Tom) Purfuerst. Proud grandpa of Colin, Carly, Claire, Abby, Kyle and Matt. Fond Brother of Don (Bonnie) Sneen and Brother-in-law of Diane Blank. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of other relatives, and many wonderful friends. Special, cherished friends of Phil and Nancy Hansen.

David, a retired MPS school teacher for 35 years, and spent his entire teaching career at Custer High School. His love of teaching and his dedication to his students touched many lives throughout the years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dave's name will be donated to the Neuroendocrine Carcinoma Foundation or Risen Savior Lutheran School. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 27, at 10:30AM, at Risen Savior Lutheran Church (9550 W. Brown Deer Rd., Milwaukee). Burial at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 26, from 4PM to 8PM at the FUNERAL HOME.
