Laurie and I had all three of our children in Milwaukee. First apartment on 60th and Green Tree. First house 1978 off off Silver Spring and Green Bay Road. Promoted with Coca Cola to manage Beaver Dam Branch in 1985. Promoted to General Manager Oshkosh Plant in 1990. Great success and record sales and profits, because of wonderful driven managers and team players who wanted to win and did What ever it took. Now with the Oshkosh Chamber hoping to make it to retirement. Weren't we just teenagers??

Thought the best years of my life were spending time with our kids and now watching them figure life out. How does it get any better. But it has. Two grandson's came into our lives and now a granddaughter the feeling of pride starts all over again. They as are our children are gifts from God. I am the back up daycare, school picker upper and babysitter with Laurie. Unbelievable feeling to listen to and watch our three Grandkids. Brings you down to each fast. It is a miracle.Our mothers both moved to Oshkosh so we have family gatherings more than ever. Family and friends are everything as we get wiser hey.

Our 40th reunion taught me how blessed we all have been to live in a special time and have all the blessings we had and have. Some of our best friends died way to young.Our class my start dying some 5 to 10 a year. We need to connect. Say or ask things we met to ask or say back then. Maybe even apologize if we care.

We were given by the grace of god a chance to live our future's out and chase our dreams.

Now if I can just lose some weight, remember everything, grow some hair back and not go to bed at 9:00. Hey does Pa Pa sound older?

Super job reunion commettee. We did it all those challenges we had. If you did not make it to the 40th. The 40th reunion and our 60ish birthday party were huge successes. We are trying a yearly picnic at places we use to go back in the day. Hope we do it again in 2016. This is our one life to live.

If you read this I can not tell you how lucky we are to have a such a hard working wonderful committee of people to do this website and other endless work for our class. If you know anyone not on our site and we have a lot please tell them to just sign up. No one needs to contact them.

There were to so many. The Army barricks, the Berryland playgound, Smith Park, McGovern Park the pool. A&W. The Dances, the parties when we could drink beer. Villard Ave, the Villa theater, the Starlight theater all the ball games.

The butterfly's before the track meets the cross country races. Coach Potter and Krueger pushing the hell of me like second fathers. We still hook up and golf and go out to eat yearly. The letterman's club. We thought we were so cool.

Found the women of my dreams in the Custer year book at Jim Cheek's house when I needed to someone to double date with. Laurie says she turned me down when I was a Senior and she had another boyfriend. I guess persistance does pay off. Married at MHP on 54th and Villard and Here we are 39 years later.

Dave Mayer was the man. Super man of our class, Jeff Haehle,John Walter how many double dates did we have.The Custer High experence got me and my wife out of Westlawn and Berryland's housing projects. We are living our dreams from back than. God will We have 40 years to go. I would not trade our memories for anything. It seems like yesterday. ( sometimes)
