MARY J MARTIN

Holmen, Wis - Mary J. Martin, 49, died in her home on Thur Nov 21, 2002 surrounded by her family.  She was born July 13, 1954 to Louise A. (Maly) and Eugene A. Martin in Milwaukee, WI.  She married Forrest Moe, the love of her life, on Oct 6 1979.

Mary is survived by her husband, Forrest; a son, Eric; and a daughter, Jessie of Holmen; three brothers, Mike (Kathy), Rick (Barb), Jim (Sandy) and numerous relatives in WI, IL, and FL.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Most recently, Mary was Forrest's partner in Schomburg Refrigeration Co., Inc. for eight years..  She was an active member of the Business and Professional Women and was recently voted as "BPW Woman of Distinction:.  She was active in support of the Holmen High School band.  In recognition of her efforts, the annual band scholarship was named in her honor.  She also taught CCD at St. Elizabeth's.

A memorial service will be held on Fri Dec 13, 2002 at 6:30pm at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Holmen.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up for Eric and Jessie's college fund at Wells Fargo.  Memorials also may be given to Gundersen Lutheran Cancer Center or St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church building fund.

Mary left on her journey with grace and at peace.  "Thank you to Dr. Jumonville and his incredible nursing staff for helping me through my journey of life.  My focus has been my family, friends, and my wonderful journey with the Lord."

What? I can't believe Mary Jo is gone. That's so sad. I remember us standing for pictures on our graduation day. I wonder what happened.

Mary Jo and i attended Holy Redeemer school in Milwaukee through 8th grade.  She was a gentle soul who was kind to all.  Rest in Peace Mary Jo!
